Minimum order quantity is the first question every buyer asks, and it deserves a straight answer. This page explains how MOQs and production planning work at Aptex Sourcing in Bangladesh, so you can plan your range and your cash flow before you place an order.
Standard minimum order quantities
- T-shirts, polo shirts and basic knitwear: 1,000 pieces per style, with up to three colours inside that quantity.
- Hoodies, sweatshirts and fleece: 1,000 pieces per style, because fleece fabric is dyed and finished per order.
- Printed and embroidered styles: 500 pieces per design on top of the garment minimum – see our screen printing and embroidery pages.
- Woven shirts, pants and workwear: 1,000 to 3,000 pieces per style depending on fabric construction and wash requirements.
These are working minimums, not walls. If your order mixes sizes in a standard ratio and stays inside a few colours, we can often be flexible. What drives the minimum is fabric: mills dye and finish cloth per order, and a very small quantity wastes fabric that somebody has to pay for. Sharing one fabric across several styles is the simplest way to make smaller styles viable.
How production is planned
Once your order and tech pack are confirmed, we book fabric, schedule cutting and sewing capacity, and fix the delivery date in writing. Sampling normally takes seven to ten days; bulk production runs 45 to 60 days after sample approval for most knitwear, with printing or embroidery adding about a week. The full step-by-step process is described on our sampling and manufacturing services page.
You receive production updates as the order moves – fabric in house, cutting started, sewing underway, inspection booked – so you are never guessing where your goods are. Final inspection happens before packing, and cartons are marked to your shipping instructions.
Planning a first order
If you are new to sourcing from Bangladesh, start with one or two core styles at the standard minimum, approve the samples carefully, and grow the range once the fit and quality are proven. Send your styles through the quote page and we will tell you honestly whether your quantities work, and what to adjust if they do not.
