Payment Terms for Clothing Orders
This page explains how payment works when you order from Aptex Sourcing. Every garment we produce is made to order in Bangladesh after an order is confirmed, and the payment arrangement for that order is agreed in writing before production begins.
We are a clothing manufacturer, supplier and exporter in Bangladesh working with buyers in the USA, the UK, Germany, Canada and Australia and other markets listed on our market area page. The arrangements below are the standard routes those buyers use with us.
Nothing about payment is left to assumption: the proforma invoice for your order states the agreed method, the currency and the schedule, and both sides work from that document.

1. How Payment Works
Once styles, fabric and quantities are confirmed, we issue a proforma invoice covering the order. Production follows the schedule agreed in that document, and the balance arrangement is tied to shipment, when the export documents for your order are ready.
2. Accepted Methods
International buyers pay by bank transfer (telegraphic transfer) to our company account, or by an irrevocable letter of credit at sight opened through their bank, as agreed for the order. The method is chosen when the order is placed, not changed mid-production.
3. Order Confirmation
An order is confirmed when the proforma invoice is accepted and the agreed opening arrangement is complete. From that point the production plan on our production planning page applies, and your merchandiser reports progress against it.
4. Samples and Courier Costs
Sample making and international courier charges for samples are accounted separately from bulk orders, and the arrangement is stated before samples are dispatched. Sample costs agreed for a programme are handled exactly as written in the sample confirmation.
5. Currency and Bank Charges
Orders are invoiced in the currency stated on the proforma invoice. Bank charges at the sender's side are borne by the sender, so the invoiced amount is what production is planned against.
Questions about an arrangement for a specific order are answered through our contact page. These terms sit alongside our terms and conditions and the wider manufacturing services we provide.
